Western Conference Injury Updates

Josh Clark: Dallas Stars coach Jim Montgomery said that they are hopeful that defenseman Andrej Sekera can return to the lineup tonight.

Owen Newkirk: The Stars did recall Joel Hanley so Sekera may not be ready. If Sekera doesn’t play, it would give him a few more extra days to recover.

Curtis Pashelka: San Jose Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said that if defenseman Radim Simek wakes up feeling good, he’ll be in the lineup against the Blackhawks tonight.

Vancouver Canucks: Canucks coach Travis Green said that Tyler Motte will be out for “at least four weeks.”

Green added that Micheal Ferland remains in concussion protocol.

Vancouver Canucks: Defenseman Quinn Hughes skated before practice yesterday. He is still day-to-day but coach Green said that he could play on Tuesday.

Jesse Granger: Vegas Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant said that forward Alex Tuch didn’t travel with the team to Columbus but he could join the team later on in their road trip.

He’s listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury. When asked if he’s under concussion protocol, Gallant would only say it’s an upper-body injury.

Mitchell Clinton: Winnipeg Jets coach Paul Maurice said that Nathan Beaulieu will likely play tonight if he’s feeling okay at their morning skate.

Mitchell Clinton: Jets Tucker Poolman didn’t practice yesterday and coach Maurice said that the defenseman is day-to-day.
