Paul Gackle: San Jose Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said they’ll have an update on forward Tomas Hertl today. DeBoer thinks it’s a lower-body injury.

Andy Strickland: St. Louis Blues forward Brayden Schenn will be out tonight.

Rieder leaves in the second

Edmonton Oilers: Winger Tobias Rieder left last night’s game early.

Jason Gregor: Rieder left at about five minutes into the second period.

Goligoski and Raanta skate

Craig Morgan: The Arizona Coyotes are still without defenseman Alex Goligoski (lower-body) and goaltender Antti Raanta (lower-body). Both Goligoski and Raanta skated yesterday. Coyotes coach Rick Tocchet said that they want Raanta to get into a few practices before returning.

LA Kings PR: The Los Angeles Kings have put goaltender Jack Campbell on the IR.

Jon Rosen: Kings hockey operations said that forward Gabriel Vilardi is still a ways away from going on a conditioning stint with Ontario of the AHL. He’s still listed as an injured non-roster player.
