David Schoen: Vegas Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant said that forward Reilly Smith is day-to-day. He left Sunday’s game in the third period.

Carrier will miss at least their next two games.

Justin Emerson: With Carrier going to the IR, the Golden Knights recalled forward Brandon Pirri. If Pirri plays three more games he will require waivers to be sent back down to the AHL.
