Anaheim Ducks: Forward Ryan Kesler missed last night’s game with a hip injury.

Landeskog out four to six weeks

Dan Rosen: Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog will be out for four to six week with an upper-body injury.

There is about four weeks left in the regular season. The Avs were only four points out a playoff spot entering last night.

Adrian Dater: Based on the diagnosis it appears that Landeskog could have a shoulder injury.

Rick Sadowski: Defenseman Nikita Zadorov should be good for today’s game.

Faksa and Zuccarello on the ice

Mark Stepneski: Dallas Stars forward Radek Faksa was on the ice yesterday for their optional skate and his status for today’s game will be determined this morning.

Forward Mats Zuccarello was also on the ice yesterday.

Karlson not returning “anytime soon”

Kevin Kurz: San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson said that he’s not returning “anytime soon” but will be “100 percent” for the start of the playoffs.

He is hoping to get into a few games before the playoffs.

He added that is current groin injury isn’t the same as his previous one but is in the same area.
