  • Lance Hornby: “Panik never hit it off with Mike Babcock, but played well on the farm and had the OT winner today vs. Syracuse.”

  • Michael Augello: “Panik & Morin are 24 & RFA’s this summer. Panik scored 11G in 14/15, but failed to impress Babcock in training camp.”
  • Jimmy Murphy: “Interesting trade with Hawks sending Morin to Leafs for Panik. Morin was in Saad deal. Is it bad sign he’s dealt twice in less than year?”
