Cap Friendly: The Caroline Hurricanes have signed center Ryan Dzingel to a two-year contract with an AAV of $3.375 million.

The Sharks re-sign Suomela

PuckPedia: The San Jose Sharks have re-signed Antti Suomela to a one-year deal with a $700,000 salary cap hit, with $200,000 in the minors and $300,000 guaranteed. He’ll be an RFA again after next season.

The Stars re-sign a bottom-six forward

Matthew DeFranks of the Dallas Morning News: The Dallas Stars re-signed restricted free agent Jason Dickinson to a two-year deal with an AAV of $1.5 million. He had an arbitration hearing set for July 20th.

The Stars are now about $970,000 away from the Cap ceiling.

Dickinson could spend some time on the wing or serve as their fourth line center.

Defenseman Julius Honka is the teams last remaining RFA, and they’ve been trying to trade him.

The Ducks bring Del Zotto back

Elliott Teaford of the OC Register: The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenseman Michael Del Zotto to a one-year contract worth $750,000.

The Ducks had acquired Del Zotto from the Vancouver Canucks for Luke Schenn before trading him to the St. Louis Blues for a draft pick. He didn’t play in any playoff games for the Blues.

The Canadiens sign an RFA forward

Montreal Canadiens: The Canadiens from re-signed restricted free agent forward Artturi Lehkonen to a two-year deal with an AAV of $2.4 million.

The 23-year old Lehkonen set career highs with 20 assists and 31 points last season.

The Rangers sign their second overall pick

New York Rangers: The Rangers have signed 2019 first-round pick Kaapo Kakko to a three-year entry-level contract.
