Good News On Nolan Patrick?

Adam Kimelman of NHL.com:  The questions surrounding Nolan Patrick’s injury grows. Patrick missed all of training camp so far and an update is scheduled for the middle of next week which likely means this week. Chuck Fletcher expects to divulge more information on the status of the forward. He is skating so that is encouraging.

Tough Break For Logan Day

Kurt Leavins:  Sadly, Logan Day broke his wrist per Mark Spector and will miss an indefinite amount of time. The Edmonton Oilers prospect looks to miss valuable time after a breakout AHL season last year.

Upshall and Ferraro released

Frank Seravalli: Forward Scottie Upshall has been released from his PTO with the Dallas Stars. He had a good camp but they have a lot of contracts.

Rick Dhaliwal: Forward Landon Ferraro has been released from the PTO with the Vancouver Canucks.
