Lance Lysowski: Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo missed yesterday’s game.

Calgary Flames: Flames forward Sam Bennett missed yesterday’s game with an upper-body injury.

Brett Cyrgalis of the NY Post: New York Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad has been out with an upper-body injury since October 27th.

He might be able to return on Wednesday for their game against the Washington Capitals.

Pens Inside Scoop: Pittsburgh Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist practiced yesterday in a no-contact jersey. He has missed the past six games with a lower-body injury.

Patrick Johnston of the Vancouver Province: Vancouver Canucks prospect Olli Juolevi is out again. He is dealing with a “lower-body ailment” that is unrelated to the knee injury he had last season.

Canucks GM Jim Benning said there is no timeline for his return.
