The Florida Panthers are close to signing free agent defenceman Dennis Seidenberg. The 1 year deal could be finalized today. Seidenberg recorded 5 goals and 30 points in 70 games for the Carolina Hurricanes last season. He averaged over 22 minutes per game.
The Panthers have been searching for someone to eat up some minutes on the point after Bouwmeester was traded to the Flames. While he won’t come close to replacing Bouwmeester, but he could be a solid addition.
