Cap Friendly: Oleksiak will forfeith $10,208.33 in salary for the two game suspension.

NHL Player Safety: Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki was suspended for two games for boarding Kings Tyler Toffoli.

On the Arizona Coyotes and New York Rangers …

Steve Zipay: The Arizona Coyotes claimed Josh Jooris off waivers from the NY Rangers. The Canucks were also rumored to be interested.

Cap Friendly: After the Jooris waiver claim, the Coyotes are $2.95 million above the cap ceiling and are still compliant with the LTIR relief from David Bolland and Chris Pronger.
