Is Burakvosky a moving part for the Capitals
Chris Kuc of The Athletic: Washington Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky would be owed at least a $3.25 million qualifying offer after the season.
It is believed that GM Brian MacLellan would like to trade him as opposed not qualifying him and allowing to becomes a UFA.

“There is lots going on right now,” Reirden said. “We’re always trying to improve our team and the direction we’re going and get better. There are lots of moving parts right now in a number of different spots.”
Devils will be sellers, but near future free agent buyers?
Chris Nichols of Nichols on Hockey: Elliotte Friedman on his 31 Thoughts: The Podcast on the direction of the New Jersey Devils ahead of the trade deadline.
“Sell, sell, sell, sell, sell. It’s like the bad car salesman commercials of the 1970s,” said Friedman.
“You can see that for Marcus Johansson,” agreed Marek. “But can you also see that for someone like Damon Severson?”
“Severson was a guy who was on the market last year and they pulled him back,” recalled Friedman. “I think there’s a lot that New Jersey will consider doing.”
Friedman wonders if the Devils would be looking at offer sheeting someone this offseason.
On the idea offer sheeting someone – are the Devils needing to bring someone big in someone to help get Taylor Hall to sign an extension or is it kind of to replace Hall?
“No, I think it would be, ‘Look Taylor, this is what we’re going to do,’” said Friedman. “I’m watching them. They’re clearing the decks, right. You can see it. You don’t do that unless you have a plan. What’s the other side of that plan. It’s got to be Taylor Hall and someone. You’re not convincing Taylor Hall to stay if it’s just him. So it’s Taylor Hall and it’s somebody else.”
Nichols notes that Hall has one year left on his deal at a $6 million cap hit.
