TSN Radio Vancouver: Pierre LeBrun said he thinks teams have already called the Canucks about Jannik Hansen.

Iain MacIntyre of the Vancouver Province: Canucks forward Alex Burrows has had to give up some things leading up to trade deadline.
“I’ve cut off my Twitter,” the Vancouver Canucks’ winger said. “I’ve cut off TSN and Canadian websites. I watch ESPN right now. I’m more aware of the Charles Oakley incident and what happened in the NBA last night (than in the NHL). I’m a huge sports fan; I have to follow sports. But right now, I’m staying away from anything where my name could be.”
Burrows and teammate Jannik Hansen have their names in the rumor mill.
Burrows has a no-trade clause and Hansen has a partial no-trade clause.
Burrows could be lost for nothing as a free agent at the end of the season. Hansen may not be protected for the expansion draft, and he could be selected by Vegas.
Goaltender Ryan Miller likely won’t be moved despite being a pending UFA. Miller can list five teams he’d expect a trade too.
With the emergence of defensemen Troy Stecher and Nikita Tryamkin, Erik Gudbranson could become expendable. Gudbranson is a pending RFA and is out indefinitely after hand surgery.
Would someone give up full-market value to Hanson – maybe a second round pick and a prospect or a decent young forward? Acquiring team would likely leave him unprotected for the expansion and they could lose him. Hansen has a year left at $2.5 million cap hit.
“If and if and if and if,” Hansen said after helping the Canucks beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-2 on Sunday. “There are too many variables where I have little control over. If the team comes to me, I give them my (trade list of eight teams) and then it’s in their hands. I can’t veto a trade. If (Benning) wants to trade me, he can trade me.”
Hansen doesn’t know how things will play out and is hopeful he’ll remain a Canuck.
