NHL Rumors: Minnesota Wild – Coyle and Niederreiter … Sens, Habs and Bruins
The Montreal Canadiens showed interest in Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle before, but that may not longer be the case.

Coyle is available, and some teams have shown interest

Michael Russo of The Athletic: Minnesota Wild GM Paul Fenton is making calls but if teams think he’s desperate, it doesn’t help his bargaining power.

Multiple sources have said that forward Charlie Coyle is being dangled.

The Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins are believed to have shown some interest.

The Wild would likely also move forward Nino Niederreiter who has another three years left on his deal.

The Wild could use a right winger and possibly a center due to Mikko Koivu‘s injury.

Michael Russo: Coyle on ignoring the trade rumors that surround him: “I’ve been going to Montreal since five years ago, so it really means nothing.”

TSN: Pierre LeBrun doesn’t believe the Canadiens remain interested in Wild forward Charlie Coyle.

“I think the Wild are talking to teams about , I don’t know if that means they’re actually going to move him,” LeBrun told TSN Radio 690 Montreal on Tuesday. “My understanding is that the Boston Bruins for sure have kicked the tires, and given their injuries it’s not surprising.

“I don’t think the Canadiens are involved. I don’t think so. That’s my understanding.”
