NHL Rumors: Duchene, Jackets, Preds, Isles, Williams, Bonino, Kulikov and Jagr
Columbus Blue Jackets and Colorado Avalanche talking Matt Duchane trade?
On Matt Duchene …

Darren Dreger: The Columbus Blue Jackets and Nashville Predators have trade offers for Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene. Other teams are still calling the Avs as well and the Avs continue their waiting game.

Aaron Portzline: “Expectation is that D Ryan Murray would be headed to the , along with another roster player or prospect/pick.”

Aaron Portzline: If the Blue Jackets were to move two roster players to the Avalanche for Matt Duchene, it would then change how the Blue Jackets approached free agency.

AJ Haefele: “A Murray/Jenner deal for Duchene is concerning because there isn’t a primary piece there. You’re hoping for bounce backs from both of them.”

On the New York Islanders …

Arthur Staple: The Islanders haven’t reached out to either Sam Gagner or Martin Hanzal. Center doesn’t appear to be a pressing need for the Islanders.

On Justin Williams

Darren Dreger: As of this morning, the Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers were connected to Justin Williams.

Arthur Staple: Furthering Dreger’s tweet (above) – it would worthwhile for Islanders GM Garth Snow to outbid the Lightning and Flyers and keep Williams away from a conference rival.

Pierre LeBrun: Could be wrong, but think that Williams has already made his decision or is real close to making it.

On Nick Bonino

Darren Dreger: Center Nick Bonino has narrowed his list down to three teams.

On Dmitry Kulikov

Darren Dreger: Free agent defenseman Dmitry Kulikov has narrowed his list down to four teams, with teams from both conferences.

On Jaromir Jagr

Harvey Fialkov: Panthers GM Dale Tallon said he’ll wait to see if Jagr gets any other contract offers before possibly re-signing him.

Slava Malamud: Amur Khabarosk and other KHL teams are interested in Jagr. Amur Khabarovsk is famous for not paying player salaries.
