Lyle Richardson of Bleacher Report: Looking at the top remaining unrestricted free agents and matching them to their ideal teams.

Francois Beauchemin – New Jersey Devils – Would be a good third pairing Dman and mentor.

Matt Cullen – Pittsburgh Penguins – Still deciding on retirement or not. May not have a lot of cap space depending on if the Pens acquire a third line center

Drew Stafford – Boston Bruins – Reports are he might have to take a PTO, though the Bruins do have the cap space to sign him to a cheap, short-term deal.

Cody Franson – Chicago Blackhawks – Report from Jay Zawaski that the Blackhawks could offer Franson a PTO, and if he works out a salary once they LTIR Marian Hossa.

Shane Doan – St. Louis Blues – Jeremy Rutherford from the Post-Dispatch thinks he’d be a good fit, adding depth to their third/fourth lines. The Blues have about $2.4 million in cap space so may have to be a bonus laden deal.

Jarome Iginla – Edmonton Oilers – Oilers GM Peter Chiarelli signed Iginla back in 2013 and maybe he tries to sign him to one-year deal with bonuses.

Thomas Vanek – Detroit Red Wings – Wouldn’t be a surprised if the Red Wings brought him back, but they’d have to figure out their cap issues first.

Jaromir Jagr – San Jose Sharks – Writer Kevin Kurz thinks Jagr could be a fit on their top line and power play unit on a one-year deal between $2 million and $3 million.
