Jeff Skinner has a no-movement clause and has given the Carolina Hurricanes a small list of teams where he’d go.

The Canadiens went to Max Pacioretty on Saturday before the draft started with a trade offer from the Los Angeles Kings with a contract extension included. Pacioretty obviously said no and then changed agents. believes Pacioretty would be okay with going to the Kings but wants to make up some money from his previous deal, but the Kings can’t fit that much in.

It was denied that Jake Muzzin was part of the potential Pacioretty deal.

The Canadiens may have asked the Hurricanes about Victor Rask.

Sources saying the Sharks and Logan Couture are closing in on an extension. Tomas Hertl could get a new deal soon.

The Jets might have to move Steve Mason‘s salary if they want to re-sign Paul Stastny.

It’s believed Artemi Panarin’s preferences are Los Angeles, New York and Florida.

The Sabres are thought to be interested in goaltender Carter Hutton.

The Flames, Oilers and/or the Canucks could be interested in Wild forward Jason Zucker, source wouldn’t confirm which or if all.

If the Sabres pay Ryan O’Reilly‘s $7.5 million signing bonus, they might as well keep him and see if the offers get better. The Blues were interested and may want to include Vladimir Sobotka in any deal. If the Sharks lose out on Tavares, they could become interested.

Dwight King may be willing to sign a two-way deal to return to North America after spending last season in the KHL.
