Rick Dhaliwal: Free agent Anton Rodin hopes to re-sign with the Vancouver Canucks:  “Yes I would like to give it another shot.”

Rick Dhaliwal: Rodin has been rehabbing his knee after having his second surgery.

Rick Dhaliwal: Hearing that the Canucks would like to give restricted free agent Joseph Cramarossa another look next year. Have been told that they are expected to send Cramorossa a qualifying offer in the next couple of weeks.

Rich Dhaliwal: Cramarossa: “I would love to have the chance to come back and show the fans in Vancouver and the team what I can do.”

On Winnipeg Jets, Jacob Trouba and the Boston Bruins …

Jimmy Murphy: NHL source saying that teams are calling the Winnipeg Jets again about defenseman Jacob Trouba. The Boston Bruins were one of those teams. Teams are calling the Jets, they are NOT shopping Trouba.

Jimmy Murphy: Same NHL sourcing saying the “Bruins definitely shopping Ryan Spooner but return as of now is very much less than satisfactory”

On the Los Angeles Kings …

Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider: The Kings have indicated they will continue to be active in the goalie market – looking at free agents, NCAA free agents or through trades. A hockey operations source that they have too many holes after Jonathan Quick. They could use a backup for Quick. Jack Campbell and Jeff Zatkoff are the only goaltenders aside from Quick that are under contract for next season.

The Kings are “actively fielding discussions” for the rights to pending UFA goalie Ben Bishop.

No much to update on restricted free agents Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson. Hockey Ops saying they are “actively working diligently” to get them signed for next season.

The Kings need to add more scoring to their roster for next season.
