NHL Power Rankings: 2016-17 Consensus Week 16
The Washington Capitals are the top team in our consensus NHL power rankings

 

 

The Washington Capitals received five of six first place votes and are the top team in our consensus NHL power rankings for week 16.

The Minnesota Wild come in at No. 2 after getting three, second place rankings.

The Pittsburgh Penguins had two second place votes and come in a No. 3 this week.

The San Jose Sharks just edged out the Columbus Blue Jackets to round out the top five.

At the other end of the rankings, the Colorado Avalanche swept all six last place rankings and hold the fort at No. 30.

The Arizona Coyotes come in again at No. 29 after five second last place votes.

The Dallas Stars come in at No. 28, just below the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Winnipeg Jets round out the bottom five at No. 26.
