Jason Bell of the Winnipeg Free Press: Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury. During Saturday’s practice, he crashed into the boards.

Schultz could have a fracture

Bob McKenzie: The Pittsburgh Penguins haven’t made an official announcement regarding defenseman Justin Schultz, but there is speculation that it could be a fracture. There is no timeline yet, but it’s going to a while.

Bob McKenzie: Note that sometimes a fracture can be better than a high ankle. That changes if surgery is required, which it might be the case here.
