TTampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov will have season-ending hip surgery to repair a torn labrum. The Lightning will put his $9.5 million cap hit on the LTIR.

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Nikita Kucherov have agreed on a contract extension that kicks after this upcoming season. The contract is for eight years and $76 million dollars.

2020-21: $4M Base + $5M SB
