Two teams won’t be being anyone in on a PTO
John Vogl: Buffalo Sabres GM Jason Botterill said they likely won’t have any veterans on PTOs at training camp: “We’ve talked to some players about that possibility, but right now we don’t foresee anything.”
Dan Murphy: From what knows, the Canucks won’t be bringing in anyone to training camp on a PTO.
Bruins, Oilers, and Islanders bringing in some PTOs
Michael Augello: Forwards Daniel Winnik and Lee Stempniak will be at the Boston Bruins training camp on a PTO.
Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers have signed forward Alex Chiasson to a PTO.
Arthur Staple: Defenseman Luca Sbisa will be attending the New York Islanders training camp on a PTO.

Breakdown of Pacioretty’s four-year deal with the Golden Knights
Pierre LeBrun: Salary cap breakdown for Max Pacioretty’s four-year contract extension:
2019-20: $10.5 million
2020-21: $7 million
2021-22: $5.25 million
2022-23: $5.25 million
The deal also carries a limited no-trade clause.
Cap Friendly: 36.54% tax in Vegas compared to 52.99% in Montreal.
John Shannon: Have been told that Pacioretty’s $7 million AVV is equivalent to $9.87 million in Montreal.
Arpon Basu: The Golden Knights were given permission to speak with Pacioretty about a contract extension before the deal went through. They needed to know that an extension could be reached before they would include Nick Suzuki in the deal.
