Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun: The Jets aren’t calling Jacob Trouba’s injury a concussion just yet as they haven’t ‘diagnosed’ it.

“He was feeling pretty darn good when he came in, which tells you nothing in these situations,” Maurice said after Monday’s optional practice. “We need to get a few days on him. Better to feel good than not, but it will take a few days before we fully understand the extent of it.”

Trouba was to see a specialist yesterday and it may take a couple days to see if it will be a short- or term-issue.

Maurice did say that Trouba is in concussion protocol.
