Chris Johnston of Sportsnet: When Seattle has their expansion draft, they will follow the same rules that Vegas went through. The Golden Knights will be exempt from the expansion draft.

Seattle will have the same draft lottery odds as Vegas did – 18.5 percent.

Each NHL team will receive $21.67 million in expansion money. They received $16.67 million when Vegas enter the league.
