Jon Rosen: Coach John Stevens said he’ll speak with trainers before deciding if Marion Gaborik will get back into the lineup tonight. Thinking that Gaborik expects to play and there is a good chance he’s in.

Montreal Canadiens: The Canadiens send goaltender Charlie Lindgren to Laval of the AHL.

On the Ottawa Senators …

Belleville Senators: The Belleville Senators (AHL) signed forward Chris Kelly to a PTO.

Bruce Garrioch: Kelly went to the Edmonton Oilers training camp and had been skating with the Senators lately.

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Ken Warren: Chris DiDomenico after the Lightning claimed him off waivers:  “To be honest, I really didn’t think it was going to happen. It happened right at the last minute.”

Ken Warren: DiDomenico continues: “I’m excited, it shows another team is interested me, but it also sucks to be leaving Ottawa, that gave me another chance to play in the NHL and I give them all the thanks in the world for that.”

Joe Smith: The Lightning recalled Cory Conacher as insurance with a couple players dealing with minor issues and back-to-back games this weekend.
