Kyle Turris and Kyle Palmieri
On the Anaheim Ducks …

Anaheim Ducks: The Ducks continue to evaluate center Ryan Getzlaf and his upper-body injury.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Craig Morgan: With the Coyotes putting Louis Domingue on waivers yesterday, it likely means that goaltender Antti Raanta is ready to return.

Craig Morgan: GM John Chayka said they’d make a decision regarding their goaltenders after the waiver process is finished. (noon today)

On the Boston Bruins …

Joe McDonald: Goaltender Anton Khudobin didn’t travel with the team to Columbus.

Boston Bruins: Coach Bruce Cassidy said that forward David Krejci (upper-body) would be out for today’s game.

On the Calgary Flames …

Wes Gilbertson: Flames winger Jaromir Jagr wasn’t ready to return as hoped yesterday.

On the Dallas Stars …

Mark Stepneski: Forward Martin Hanzal is questionable for tonight. It doesn’t sound like defenseman Stephen Johns is ready.

Mark Stepneski: Johns was able to practice yesterday which is a good sign.

On the New Jersey Devils …

Chris Ryan of NJ.com: Devils forward Marcus Johansson tweaked something in his lower-body and was a late scratch for yesterday’s game.

“There was nothing previous to warmups, he just tweaked something in the warmup and didn’t feel like — with the doctors, trainers and Marcus himself — there was no guarantee he’d be able to finish the game,” Hynes said. “So it’s a lower body and right now he’s day-to-day.”

On the Ottawa Senators …

Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen: Forward Kyle Turris practiced yesterday with a no-contact jersey, but he likely won’t be in the lineup tonight. Turris has missed the past two games with a viral infection.

“It’s better. He was on the ice, but I doubt it,” Boucher said. “We’ll see (Monday) morning. When the virus is gone, it’s gone and he might wake up tomorrow morning and it’s gone. It’s definitely better, but, until it’s gone, I don’t think it’s the right thing (for Turris) to play.

“Do I believe he’ll be there Thursday? Yes, I really do. We might have to get through one more game.”

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Rick Dhaliwal: Coach Travis Green said that Brock Boeser is day-to-day with a foot injury.

On the Vegas Golden Knights …

Steve Carp: The Golden Knights have suspended Vadim Shipachyov without pay after he left their AHL team without their okay. Defenseman Jason Garrison cleared waivers and will report to the AHL. They put defenseman Griffin Reinhart on waivers.

Tom Gulitti: “Golden Knights have done a lot right so far, but doesn’t look like going so heavy on D in expansion draft is working as well as they hoped.”

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Ken Wiebe: Coach Paul Maurice said that forward Adam Lowry needs to take some more contact during practice before he’s ready to return. It doesn’t sound like his return is imminent.
