Jon Rosen: The LA Kings recalled goaltender Jack Campbell on an emergency basis. The Kings put forward Kyle Clifford on the IR retroactive to December 16th.

Jon Rosen: Coach John Stevens on defenseman Christian Folin: “He hasn’t really started skating again yet, but we’ve got the break coming here. We want to just let everything settle down, get him going again after the break. I would hope he starts skating after the break, but we’ll see.”

Dane Mizutani of the Pioneer Press: Forward Nino Niederreiter missed last night’s game. He left Friday’s game in the first period with a lower-body injury. Coach Bruce Boudreau yesterday.

“I just know that he’s out for tonight,” Boudreau said. “I’ve got to think that it’s not long term. It wasn’t like he broke his foot or anything.”
