On the Arizona Coyotes …

Craig Morgan: Defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson traveled with the team on their four-game road trip. It’s possible that he could play at some point. Defenseman Jakob Chychrun could meet up with the team at some point to practice, but he won’t get back in the lineup just yet.

On the Boston Bruins …

Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports: David Krejci practiced in a no-contact jersey. He’s been out for over three weeks with a back injury.

Forward Noel Acciari, Brad Marchand and Anders Bjork all missed practice yesterday.

Ryan Spooner skated before practice yesterday. He’s been out a month with a torn groin. It was expected that he’d miss four to six weeks.

Fluto Shinzawa: Marchand and Bjork didn’t travel with the team out West.

On the Carolina Hurricanes …

Chip Alexander: The Hurricanes put forward Lee Stempniak back on the IR with an upper-body injury. He was on a conditioning stint in the AHL and was hurt during his first shift.

On the Columbus Blue Jackets …

Brian Hedger: The Blue Jackets put forward Zac Dalpe on the IR with an upper-body injury and recalled Jordan Schroeder from the AHL.

On the Detroit Red Wings …

Detroit Red Wings: Darren Helm and Trevor Daley didn’t practice yesterday.

Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press: Forward Justin Abdelkader practiced with a shield on to protect his fractured cheekbone. Abdelkader fractured his cheekbone in a fight last week with Troy Brouwer. The fight happened in the second period and he finished the game. Healing time is six to eight weeks but he plans on playing through it by wearing a shield or mask.

Defenseman Danny DeKeyser fractured his ankle after blocking a shot back on October 10th. He practiced for the first time since then yesterday. DeKeyser is hopeful to return either Friday or Sunday.

On the New York Islanders …

Adam Getz: The New York Islanders announced that forward Nikolay Kulemin will be out for six months after surgery for an upper-body injury. Kulemin has been out since November 7th after taking a big hit from Oilers defenseman Eric Gryba.

On the Toronto Maple Leafs …

Kristen Shilton: Coach Mike Babcock said that forward Auston Matthews will skate today. The rest of the team has an off day. They hope that he’ll be able to practice on Wednesday.

On the Vegas Golden Knights …

Vegas Golden Knights: Coach Gerald Gallant said that Luca Sbisa won’t travel with the team to Edmonton and Vancouver. Listed as day-to-day.
