Boston Bruins: The Bruins assigned goaltender Zane McIntyre to the AHL.

On the Calgary Flames …

Pat Steinberg: The Flames put defenseman Travis Hamonic on the IR retroactive to November 2nd, and recalled Rasmus Andersson.

On the Columbus Blue Jackets …

Blue Jackets PR: The Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Gabriel Carlsson of the IR. Winger Cam Atkinson was put on the IR retroactive to October 28th. He’s day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

On the Dallas Stars …

Mark Stepneski of Stars Inside Edge: Forwards Radek Faksa and Tyler Pitlick are doubtful for tonight after being injured in Saturday’s game.

Faksa left Saturday’s game in the second period with a lower-body injury. Pitlick left in the third period with an upper-body injury.

“We don’t expect it to be long-term. Both are day to day, and they are doubtful for tomorrow, but I don’t think they are going to be able to play,” Stars coach Ken Hitchcock said after Sunday’s practice.

The Stars put forward Brett Ritchie on the IR with an upper-body injury retroactive to October 30th.

Forward Martin Hanzal has missed the past two games with a lower-body injury is questionable for tonight.

“We’re testing Hanzal competitively today to see if he is ready to go,” Hitchcock said. “We’ll see where he is, but we are not sure yet until we get the evaluation on the tests.”

Mark Stepneski: If Hanzal is not able to go tonight, the Stars will call up a forward.

On the Detroit Red Wings …

Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press: Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist left yesterday’s game with a right knee injury from a knee-on-knee hit with Eric Gryba. Initial reports are that it is not a serious injury.

 

On the Montreal Canadiens …

Eric Engels: Nick Kypreos suspected that Carey Price is dealing with a minor knee ingury.
