Robby Stanley: Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban is eligible to come off the IR tomorrow but it’s not known yet if he will.

St. Louis Blues: The Blues have fired head coach Mike Yeo and named Craig Berube as an interim head coach.

Alex Steen is still day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Patrick Maroon (upper-body) skated yesterday morning and they are hopeful that he’ll be able to return soon.

Jaden Schwartz (upper-body) and Carl Gunnarsson (upper-body) will be re-evaluated next week.

Robert Bortuzzo (lower-body) skated on his own.

Hertl could return tonight

Paul Gackle: San Jose Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said that forward Tomas Hertl should be able to return to the lineup tonight.

Edler traveling with the team

Jeff Paterson: Vancouver Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler will travel with the team on their road trip. Maybe he could return on the weekend.
