NHL Injury Updates
Elliott Teaford: Ducks defenseman Josh Manson has been out for almost six weeks and could be getting close to returning. The initial timeline for his sprainded knee was five to 10 weeks. The Ducks will practice for the next few days before facing the Capitals on Friday.
- Lance Lysowski: Sabres coach Ralph Krueger said that Okposo is still “a ways away” from returning to the lineup or taking contact.
Forward Andre Burakovsky could join the team on their road trip.
Defenseman Erik Johnson won’t be joining the team on the road. He is out “week-to-week.”
Forward Colin Wilson had lower-body surgery and is out long-term.
- Adrian Dater: Rantanen is expected to play tomorrow. Forward Matt Calvert is expected to return soon.
- Ryan S. Clark: Avs Gabriel Landeskog was on the ice yesterday in a no-contact jersey.
Chris Johnston: Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner returned to full practice yesterday and is eligible to come off the LTIR on Wednesday. Their original timeline for Marner to return was at least next week.
Chris Johnston: Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas said that they hope to get Marner back “in the coming days.”
