Paul Hamilton: Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin is still in a no-contact jersey as he hasn’t been cleared yet.

Renaud Lavoie: Montreal Canadiens forward Paul Byron is closest of their injured players to returning to the lineup. They’ll know in the next day or so if he’ll be able to go on Saturday.

Thomas Drance: Vancouver Canucks forward Micheal Ferland left last night’s game early with an upper-body injury and there wasn’t an update after the game.
