NHL Injury Updates

Richard Morin: Arizona Coyotes defensemen Jason Demers (lower-body) and Jordan Oesterle (upper-body), along with forward Brad Richardson (upper-body) missed last night’s game.

Conor Ryan: Injured Boston Bruins Kevan Miller, Par Lindholm and Joakim Nordstrom all skated in red, non-contact sweaters yesterday.

Mike Loftus: Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said that forward Jake DeBrusk won’t play tonight due to a lower-body injury.

Ryan S. Clark: The Colorado Avalanche held forward Nathan MacKinnon out at the end of the game last night for precautionary reasons.

Coach Jared Bednar said they don’t know the status of defenseman Nikita Zadorov.

Colorado Avalanche: Goaltender Philipp Grubauer is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

St. Louis Blues: Blues forward Alex Steen was placed on the IR with a high left-ankle sprain. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Kristen Shilton: There is still no timeline on when Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman could return according to Mike Babcock.

Thomas Drance: Vancouver Canucks coach Travis Green didn’t have an update on defenseman Chris Tanev and wouldn’t comment on if he’ll be able to play tonight or not.

Ken Wiebe: Winnipeg Jets forward Bryan Little was released from the hospital yesterday.

  • Ken Wiebe: Jets coach Paul Maurice said that Little has a perforated eardrum. There is no timeline on when he will return to hockey related activities.
