SportsCentre: Toronto Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock said that Auston Matthews won’t practice today and will miss Monday’s game with a shoulder injury.

Paul Hendrick: Matthews shoulder injury is not the same shoulder that he injured last season. They will re-evaluate him on Monday.

Quick out indefinitely

NHL.com: Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. His injury is not believed to be the same one that caused him to miss five games earlier this season.

Hedman out at least a week

Erik Erlendsson: The Tampa Bay Lightning said that defenseman Victor Hedman will have his upper-body injury re-evaluated in a week.

Forward Ondrej Palat is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Erik Erlendsson: The Lightning have recalled defenseman Cameron Gaunce.

Luongo facing shots

Jameson Olive: Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo faced shots today. Panthers coach Bob Boughner said they won’t bring him back until he’s 110 percent. Boughner added “He’s a huge part of this team. And you can see, no slight to anybody else, this team’s missed him. We’re a different team when he’s playing.”

McQuaid day-to-day

Colin Stephenson: New York Rangers coach David Quinn said that defenseman Adam McQuaid is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Quinn added that they are hopeful that he’ll be able to return before their road trip is over.

Clutterbuck has an upper-body injury

Adam Kimelman: New York Islanders forward Cal Clutterbuck left yesterday’s game early with an upper-body injury.

Eriksson Ek activated from the IR

Minnesota Wild: The Wild have activated Joel Eriksson Ek off the IR.

Benning activated from the IR

Daniel Nugent-Bowman: The Edmonton Oilers activated defenseman Matt Benning from the IR and sent defenseman Kevin Gravel to the AHL.
