  • Erik Erlendsson: Cedric Paquette (lower-body) and Valtteri Filppula (upper-body) missed last night’s game.
  • Erik Erlendsson: Coach Jon Cooper said that there is a good chance that Filppula won’t play in any of their remaining road trip games.
  • Joe Smith: Paquette said that he is feeling “decent” and is hopeful to play later on in the trip.

On the St. Louis Blues …

  • Jeremy Rutherford: Carl Gunnarsson is day-to-day with a lower-body injury according to coach Ken Hitchcock.

  • Mike Harrington: Ryan O’Reilly is expected to return to the lineup tonight.

  • Terry Frei of the Denver Post: Defenseman Chris Bigras was wearing a no-contract jersey at practice yesterday and said there is still one concussion protocol test to pass before he’s able to return to the lineup. Since he didn’t take part in the full practice yesterday, it’s unlikely that he plays tonight.

  • Neil Best: Forward Mikhail Grabovski returned to the lineup last night after missing 10 games with an upper-body injury and was on a line with John Tavares and Kyle Okposo.
