Ottawa Senators: Ottawa Senators forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau returned to the lineup yesterday.

Bruce Garrioch: Senators forward Bobby Ryan returned after blocking a shot, but he didn’t play late in the game. His status isn’t known.

Wes Crosby: Pittsburgh Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said that defenseman Justin Schultz is listed as week-to-week.

Andersen and Sparks on the ice

Kristen Shilton: Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman taped his ankle to continuing playing after he thought he sprained it against the New Jersey Devils. Two days later he had an MRI and found out it was worse than he thought: “Our medical staff do a good job of making sure when you’re not ready to play, they’re protecting you from yourself.”

Kristen Shilton: Both Maple Leafs goaltenders Frederik Andersen and Garret Sparks were on the ice before practice yesterday. Andersen remained on the ice.
