Craig Morgan: Arizona Coyotes forward Michael Grabner left last night’s game early after taking a stick to the face. Coach Rick Tocchet didn’t have an update after the game.

Craig Morgan of The Athletic: Coyotes goaltender Antti Raanta has missed 10 of their past 13 games with lower-body injuries. Raanta was on the ice yesterday morning and a source has said he could return on Tuesday.

Coach Tocchet had said that Raanta’s recent lower-body injury isn’t related to his previous lower-body injury.

Hurricanes activate two

Carolina Hurricanes: The Hurricanes have activated defensemen Haydn Fleury and Brett Pesce from the IR. Defenseman Jake Bean has been re-assigned to Charlotte of the AHL.

Murray in a walking boot

Luongo getting closer

Harvey Fialkov of the Miami Herald: Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo will remain out of the lineup until next week.

Predators lose Forsberg for at least a month

Adam Vingan: Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg will be out for four to six weeks with an upper-body injury.
