Boston Bruins David Krejci is day-to-day, Kevan Miller is week-to-week.
Miller not close … Krejci day-to-day

Conor Ryan: Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney said that defenseman Kevan Miller is still week-to-week.

Amalie Benjamin: Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said that forward David Krejci is listed as day-to-day after taking a big hit. He didn’t go through concussion protocol last night.

Boston Bruins: Cassidy on Krejci: “He took a hit from Nash and then they were looking at him…I would rule him as day-to-day for now. It’s not a concussion…he left the game and by the time he was available to come back, the game was over. We’ll see how he is in the morning.”

Hurricanes injury update

Michael Smith: Carolina Hurricanes coach Rob Brind’Amour giving some status updates on their injured players yesterday.

Andrei Svechnikov: “I hope so. … There’s one more step in this protocol he has to get cleared.”

Jordan Martinook: “I hope so, too. … If they can go, they’ll be in.”

Micheal Ferland: “Exact same. We’ve got three guys we’re unsure about.”

Girard to return

Ryan S. Clark: Colorado Avalanche defenseman Samuel Girard will return to the lineup tonight.

Injured Sharks

Curtis Pashelka: San Jose Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said that it’s unlikely that forward Joe Pavelski will play tonight. He’s listed as day-to-day.

Forward Micheal Haley is also not likely to play.

Questionable players include Melker Karlsson and Joonas Donskoi.

@Prospects_Watch: Gord Miller on TSN 690 talking about San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson: “When his playoffs are over, I think he’s going to go to the hospital and ask for the works, he can barely walk…There isn’t one thing wrong with him, there’s a lot.”

Hyman out six months

Dave McCarthy: Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman will be out for six months as he requires surgery for a torn ACL.

“I was able to stand, put pressure on it & skate on it so then it was just dealing with the pain. I didn’t know what it was at the time, that probably helped.”
