Dave McCarthy: Leafs coach Mike Babcock said that Dermott has been cleared for contact and will fully participate in practice today.

Isabelle Khurshudyan: Washington Capitals Todd Reirden said that defenseman Michal Kempny is out “long-term.” They are still deciding on whether he’ll need surgery or not. Sounds like he’s out at least for the regular season and into the playoffs.
