Lou Korac: St. Louis Blues forward David Perron missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury and is listed as day-to-day.

Karlsson misses last night’s game

Kevin Kurz of The Athletic: San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson missed last night’s game. He seemed to be favoring his left foot/ankle after Wednesday’s game.

He tested his injury out in the warmups but couldn’t go.

“He’s been dealing with something for a little while here,” DeBoer said about Karlsson after the game. “We all, and he felt, that he was going to be able to play through it and just couldn’t.”

Kevin Kurz: Sharks coach Pete DeBoer on if they should sit Karlsson for their next two games: “We’ll see how he feels tomorrow. … We’re not going to risk anything with him, obviously. If he can play without risking long-term injury, then we will, but we’re not going to rest him just to rest him.”
