Joe McDonald: Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury.

Matt Porter: DeBrusk was wearing a walking boot on his left foot yesterday after practice.

Kampf activated

Chicago Blackhawks: The Blackhawks activated forward David Kampf from the IR. He’d been out with a right foot injury.

Larkin and Green out

Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press: Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin missed last night’s game with a back injury.

Defenseman Mike Green will be out for the rest of the season as the virus that he had earlier this season has come back. They don’t believe there will be a long-term concern for him.

Larkin had an MRI for his lingering issue.

“He had a little bit of it earlier in the year and it went away and then he’s had it here the last little bit,” Blashill said. “He’s tried to play through it. It’s really bothered him at different times to a point I didn’t know if he’d finish some games.”

Weber skates

Thomas Willis: Nashville Predators defenseman Yannick Weber missed Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury but was able to practice yesterday.

Palmieri and Quenneville unsure about tonight

Chris Ryan: Forward Kyle Palmieri and John Quenneville aren’t sure if they will be able to go tonight. Regardless they are traveling with the team. Forward Pavel Zacha is also with the team.

Lehner and Clutterbuck day-to-day

Brett Cyrgalis: New York Islanders coach Barry Trotz said that both Robin Lehner and Cal Clutterbuck are day-to-day and it’s not looking too bad for them right now.

Letang still day-to-day

Matt Vensel: Pittsburgh Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said that Kris Letang was sick yesterday and didn’t skate. On Wednesday Letang was skating in a no-contact jersey and Sullivan said he looked fine. He’s still considered day-to-day.
