  • Aaron Vickers: Flames GM Jay Feaster announces that Sean Monahan will stay in Calgary for the season. Sunaya Sapurji: The Flames will decide closer to the World Junior Championship if he’ll be allowed to go or not. Canada’s camp will start in mid-December. Adam Kimelman: Feaster on possibility of releasing Monahan for the WJC: “We’re a big believer … in the WJC and what they do for players.”
  •  Jonas Siegel: The Maple Leafs haven’t told Morgan Rielly if he’ll stay with the team beyond nine-games. He plays his ninth game tomorrow.
