Around the Boards: Turco could be out in Dallas? Sykora out in Minny?
  • E.J. Hradek of ESPN: Marty Turco’s days in Dallas could come to an end at the trade deadline day. Hradek thinks that if the Stars could come up with a good deal, GM Joe Nieuwendyk would make it.
  • Michael Russo Minneapolis Star Tribune: Petr Sykora’s agent, Allan Walsh, tweeted “treating Petr Sykora with less respect than a rookie,”. Sykora isn’t getting much playing time since coming back from injury. The writing seems to be on the wall, and Sykora might find himself playing somewhere else by the deadline.
  • Allen Panzeri of the Ottawa Citizen: There is a chance that Senators captain, Daniel Alfredsson, could return to the lineup tonight. The same goes for defenceman Filip Kuba.
