Is Peter Forsberg attempting to get back to the NHL? After his comeback last year only lasted 2 games before his foot acted up, Forsberg is back at it this year, after playing his 1st game in the Swedish Elite league last night. Forsberg could also play for the Swedish team in the 2010 Olympics.
In another comeback attempt, the speedy Jason Allison will be attending the Toronto Maple Leafs training camp. Allison last played in the NHL 3 years ago for the Leafs. My first thought when I see the name, Jason Allison, is “the slowest NHL player ever”. My only memory of Allison in a Leaf jersey is of one of his penalty shots, where I think he only took 3 strides from center ice to the net. It was the longest penalty shot of all time.
