Crosby skates … Pronger out 3-4 weeks, surgery tomorrow … New concussion protocol
  • Bob McKenzie via twitter: Sidney Crosby has been symptom free for a couple days and skated today. He’s still day-to-day. Standard rehab protocol usually calls for 2 to 3 weeks before playing after being out 2 1/2 months. Will DePaoli via twitter: Crosby says he’s not close condition wise and never considered retirement or packing it in for the season.
  • Renaud Lavoie via twitter: “For the remainder of the season, players who exhibit signs of concussion will be taken to the dressing room to see the doctor.” “Those tests will take 10 to 15 minutes. Doctor will decide if a player can play or not.”
