Bogosian injury update … Hossa gets clearance … Rangers would be ready … Kane ready to leave again … Gardiner injury
  • Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press: Jets defenseman Zach Bogosian had wrist surgery in the summer, with a 4 to 6 months recovery needed. Mid-January would be the 4 month mark. Last week he had a screw removed, and remains on schedule.
  • Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune: Blackhawks Marian Hossa has been given medical clearance by the team. He’s been recovering from a concussion that he suffered from a Raffi Torres hit in Game 3 of the Western Conference quarterfinals last season.
  • Steve Zipay of Newsday: If the season were to begin in January, Rangers Rick Nash, Marian Gaborik and Carl Hagelin would be expected to be healthy enough to start the season.
  • Kyle Cicerella via twitter: Marlies Jake Gardiner is feeling symptoms in the neck and some headaches. Coach Dallas Eakins won’t call it a concussion, but they will “err on side of caution.”
