Blue Jackets trade for Mark Letestu

The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded Mark Letestu to the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 2012 4th round pick.

Bob McKenzie via twitter: Letestu became expendable due to the play of Richard Park and Dustin Jeffrey is returning from injury.

Aaron Portzline via twitter: GM Scott Howson: “We like the player. It does not fill an immediate need, but you can never have too many centers. We think he’s a top-9 talent.” Howson added that this trade is not a precursor to another trade.

hopefully this is a setup trade to part with brassard or vermette
