  • Tracey Myers: Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said that Patrick Kane could start skating “as early as tomorrow.”
  • Andy Strickland: Blues Alex Steen (upper-body) and Barrett Jackman (lower-body) are day-to-day. Their injuries are not serious, but they won’t play tonight.
  • Ansar Khan: Red Wings Daniel Alfredsson didn’t skate today and looking unlikely that he’ll play tomorrow. Hasn’t been on the ice since Sunday.
  • Sam Carchidi: Flyers Kimmo Timonen will be back in the lineup tonight. He could have returned on Tuesday but they game him the extra rest.
  • Ken Wiebe: Looking like Devin Setoguchi will be a healthy scratch for the fourth time in the last five games.
