On the San Jose Sharks …

Kevin Kurnz of CSN Bay Area: Forward Logan Couture left night’s game and was taken to a hospital after taking a puck to the mouth area.

“I don’t have a report. I heard they took him to the hospital. That’s the last I heard,” DeBoer said.

He lost at least one tooth. He was able to quickly skate off the ice after he was hit.

On the Nashville Predators …

Thomas Willis of NHL.com: Forward Mike Fisher is day-to-day with a lower-body. He missed Thursday’s game as well as last night’s.

Adam Vingan of The Tennessean: Forward Calle Jarnkrok is okay after taking a big punch from Sharks Michael Haley in the third period last night. Jarnkrok didn’t return for the final seven minutes and Haley received a match penalty for an attempt to injure.
