  • Dan Rose of NHL.com: Capitals Brooks Laich was finally able to get back on the ice yesterday.

    “Now when I step on the ice I feel completely free as opposed to very limited, like the last two years,” Laich told NHL.com.

    Laich has battled groin injuries for the past two seasons, with his latest surgery in March to release a tight adductor muscle.
