The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded goaltender Mike Condon to the Ottawa Senators for a 2017 5th round pick.

Elliotte Friedman: Condon is in Anaheim but will fly to Ottawa and be in the lineup tomorrow.

Bob McKenzie: The Senators are not sure on when Andrew Hammond will be ready to return. They will know more on Craig Anderson’s status tomorrow or later this week. The Senators decided to get some insurance.

Bob McKenzie: When Hammond returns, and assuming that Anderson will be with the team, they plan on going with three goalies for the foreseeable future.

Don Brennan: The 26-year old Condon carries a $575,000 cap hit and is a pending UFA.
